Not long now until the South West’s leading Autojumble for Land Rovers and other 4×4 vehicles – the ideal place to find spares and parts at greats prices. The gates open at 9:30am on Saturday August 21st.

The event will also feature 4×4 Club stands, meaning plenty of vehicles will be on show, and many specialists will have show stands such as Project Mobility (who we support), QT and Mammouth (we have some of their gear on the Ice Warrior) and the North Dartmoor Search & Rescue, amongst others.

The Ice Warrior has had many upgrades in the last few months, and aside from some ongoing work and additional upgrades in the future, it’s pretty much finished. It looks like a Defender that could cope with pretty much anything, and we’d like to thank everyone for their support, from the companies that donated parts to the fans that followed the process of creating the ultimate Defender mascot.

There will be plenty of opportunities to see the Warrior out and about from now on, starting with The Honiton Show tomorrow, where the vehicle will be driving around the Show – so keep an eye out for that brand new chequerplate!

The Baskerville Challenge 2010 is coming soon! Organised by the Wye And Welsh Land Rover Club and taking place in Powys from the 28th to 30th of August, this is definitely one to attend.

The camp site opens on Friday at noon. The event will include:

Saturday – CCVT, TYRO and Entertainment
Sunday – RTV, TYRO and Entertainment
Monday – TYRO, TIME TRIAL.
Prize givings in the bar.

There will be a possibility to use the swimming pool as it will be available at all times.

The Land Rover mascot vehicle project has been named Ice Warrior. Congratulations to competition winner Dave from Portsmouth and runner-up Steve from Plymouth – your vouchers are on their way.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Brookwell Land Rover Project X – we’re going to be kitting out a Defender 90 with all the best parts from our suppliers to create the ultimate Brookwell mascot vehicle!

We need your help though, to come up with a name for our vehicle. Make a suggestion by March 20th and you could win a £50 Brookwells voucher.

Brookwell Supplies is proud to announce that we will be attending the LRO Show on Stand A3A, the show is to be held on the Bank Holiday Weekend of the 26th, 27th and 28th of August 2005.

This is the biggest event on the Land Rover show calendar which attracts on average 31,000 visitors every year. The Three Counties Showground is easily accessible from anywhere in the country – just 8 miles from the M5 and M50 motorways.

It will be a real pleasure to meet our customers face to face rather than on the end of a phone, come along to the stand and say hello as we will be organising giveaways throughout the show.
