Thank You To Everyone Who Helped Make CDLRC’s Charity Weekend Great Once Again

Posted on: July 24, 2013

Businesses big and small from across the UK have come together to support the Cornwall and Devon Land Rover Club’s annual charity RTV event, held at Newnham Park, Plympton, over the weekend of 22-23rd of June 2013.

And it’s a fitting tribute to the teams who also came from far and wide to take part in this great event which raised around £4,000 for St Luke’s Hospice in Plymouth.

As well as the usual strong presence from the hosts there were also teams from Wye and Welsh Land Rover Club, Midland LRC, Somerset and Wilts LRC, Dorset LRC, Cheltenham and Cotswold LRC and the Hants and Berks LRC.

As well as the 24 teams of three’s entry fees there were other events such as a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.

As a small gesture of thanks to all the people who gave up their free time to help make this event happen we asked a number of companies to donate various items to go into the marshalls raffle and we thank them for their generosity.

“Brookwells also provided marshals goody bags and made sure that everyone that had signed on to help over the weekend received one, its always fantastic to be able to do this as without our volunteer marshals and other officials we could not hold the event, as always they are very appreciated.”
