Posted on: March 22, 2013

The Cornwall and Devon Land Rover Club are gearing up for their annual charity RTV event held at Newnham Park and Hemerdon Mine in Plymouth on the 22nd and 23rd of June.

And once again we are backing this great weekend where proceeds from event will go to St. Lukes Hospice Plymouth Devon.

Cornwall and Devon Land Rover Club are getting ready for the Newnham Park Charity RTV Event 2013

The organisers explain, “The trial will run over 2 days and consist of 20 sections, 10 sections at each site. This is a team event for groups of 3 vehicles/drivers, with no more than 1 vehicle from the ALRC Modified classes permitted in any one team. Modified vehicles may not be double driven.

The Entry Fee for each Team will be £120.00 and the Closing Date for Entries will be 20th June 2013, Entries will be limited to 40 teams.

Sponsorship is being sought in order to maximise the percentage of your entry fee that goes to the charity.”

Our Aaron has made a promotional video for the event which can be seen by clicking here.

We’re big fans of the CDLRC here at Brookwells and as well as sponsoring this event, we back their RTV championship. As a thanks for this, we received a special honour when our MD was awarded an honoury Vice-Presicency of the club at their Dinner and Dance back in January.

It’s a great club and this is one of many events they hold throughout the year, you don’t even have to have a Land Rover to join the club and get involved. Places are limited for this event so be sure to act fast to avoid disappointment.

To be kept up to date, keep checking the CDLRC’s website, their facebook page, or head over to our facebook event as there looks set to be a string of exciting updates leading upto the end of June, including rumours of a baking competition judged by the esteemed Tony Powell. But you didn’t hear anything from us, alright!!
